Description
- The Harp, Flute, and Cello trio known as DesertWind embodies all the special qualities which can transform an
occasion into an event that is unforgettable.
The three talented and versatile ladies of this ensemble have performed individually in major showrooms and venues
all over the country with stars such as Natalie Cole, Gladys Knight, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr.,Tony Bennett,
Johnny Mathis, and Wayne Newton, to name only a few.
In 1986 they pooled their talents and became Desert Wind. Since that time, they have performed for everything from
major social and Corporate functions to Weddings, New Year's Eve Galas for thousands of guests, intimate V:I .P.
dinners for Royalty and Heads of State. They are in demand at Las Vegas hotels such as Caesars Palace and the Mirage
for their most important events, and are increasingly being requested to perform throughout the country by clients
who appreciate their unique abilities.
DesertWind's impact is both aural and visual. Their sound is a lush blend of Standards, Popular, Broadway, Jazz,
and Classical music which envelopes a room, but never overpowers it. The beauty of these women, their instruments
